Role & Responsibilities
- Serve an assigned section of the restaurant with professional, gracious table service consistent with luxury standards.
- Provide detailed menu information using thorough knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology.
- Recommend and service wine, beer and spirits; apply technical beverage service and presentation procedures.
- Manage transactions and adhere to accounting procedures using the POS system; ensure accurate handling of all authorized payment methods.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and complete pre-shift, post-shift, daily and weekly assigned duties.
- Maintain restaurant and workstation cleanliness and the highest standards of personal hygiene and uniform presentation.
- Multitask effectively during service periods while interacting graciously with guests and resolving customer issues.
- Follow established scheduling procedures, record time accurately, and coordinate time off with management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience serving food and beverage and knowledge of formal table-service protocols.
- Thorough understanding of order of service and proper placement of table settings, food and beverage as indicated by kitchen tickets and guidebook.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-focused, "win together" culture.
- Exceptional customer service and problem‑solving skills; ability to maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
Prior experience in food and beverage service with demonstrated competence in full‑service/table service environments; fine‑dining or luxury retail dining experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
