Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale: process sales, returns, exchanges, Option 7 orders and online order store pickups accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to credit account inquiries and facilitate opening of new credit accounts in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support the Assistant Store Manager at the register and assist customers and colleagues in a courteous, timely manner.
  • Perform cash-management duties: open and close registers, prepare daily sales deposits, complete cash office reports and monitor POS payouts.
  • Enter and maintain client data in the access system to support ongoing clientelling and CRM activities.
  • Inspect and return merchandise to the sales floor in proper condition with required tickets attached.
  • Answer incoming phones professionally and adhere to Neiman Marcus Customer Service Standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of cash-handling experience and 1+ year of retail experience required.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using point-of-sale systems.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
