Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed action plans for in-store events, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional communications with Selling Managers, Corporate Special Events, and Senior Store Leadership
  • Design and oversee the complete event lifecycle, including scheduling, internal/external communications, production, breakdown, and ROI reporting
  • Collaborate with Corporate Brand Experience, Merchants, Communications, and brand partners to plan seasonal events calendars across markets
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with philanthropic organizations, corporate partners, social groups, and internal stakeholders to generate brand excitement and community engagement
  • Drive client relationship-specific initiatives in partnership with the General Manager, monitoring KPIs such as customer trip frequency, spending tier migration, and MVC (Most Valuable Client) engagement
  • Identify and nurture opportunities for Private Client Relations (PCR) programs and exclusive experiences with high-value clients
  • Analyze weekly store and divisional customer performance metrics (sales, count, trips, spending per customer) to inform real-time strategic adjustments
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and Division Store Executives, ensuring MVC health and overall store target achievement
  • Surface top client liabilities and develop anniversary strategies for large-ticket sales in partnership with key associates
  • Engage directly with clients to support client development efforts and relationship deepening

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in client management, event planning, brand experience, or retail operations
  • Demonstrated history of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams
  • Strong ability to synthesize data and performance metrics to determine actionable strategic decisions
  • Executive-level presentation experience and communication skills
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, Google Suite, Tableau, CONNECT, and InDesign
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to travel as required by business needs
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 10 pounds
