Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service throughout the entire sales journey: greet, consult, apply, and close sales while building long-term client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
- Conduct professional makeup and skincare consultations, including pre-booked facial and treatment appointments.
- Utilize the Saks Fifth Avenue online clienteling resource tool to record client profiles, preferences and follow-up actions to drive repeat business.
- Maintain counter merchandising and presentation standards to ensure a tidy, welcoming and brand-compliant selling area.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and vendor Account Executives to execute vendor-led initiatives and in-house training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrable ability to perform professional make-up application and skincare consultations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high levels of multitasking.
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and the aptitude to adopt proprietary retail software.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and sound business judgment.

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in cosmetics; demonstrated sales success with experience exceeding quotas and working with pre-booked appointments and vendor events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, esthetician certification or retail beauty training preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
