Neiman Marcus in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time Beauty Advisor (La Prairie) — in-store role focused on sales, clienteling and cosmetic consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, brand-aligned customer experiences across consultation, application and sale; model Neiman Marcus service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
- Conduct professional make-up and skincare consultations and perform treatment applications appropriate to the La Prairie product line.
- Build and maintain client relationships using the Neiman Marcus clienteling system, recording preferences and appointments to grow repeat business.
- Maintain immaculate counter presentation and merchandising standards to reflect luxury positioning.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and store colleagues to support vendor events, pre-booked facial consultations and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty counter environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrable competence in professional make-up application and facial/skincare consultations.
- Strong organisational skills, sound business judgement and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling tools and CRM systems.

Experience
At least one year of customer-facing retail experience, ideally in a cosmetics or beauty environment, with documented success against individual sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician certification or formal beauty training preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 10 to USD 19 per hour.
