Role & Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate daily menu and special-event food items to ensure smooth, efficient retail restaurant operations.
- Control daily and weekly inventories; use production and build-to sheets to minimise waste and protect profitability.
- Maintain production flow by communicating supply needs and order status with head cook and service associates.
- Prepare menu components following production counts and portion controls; verify and fulfill special orders.
- Maintain a clean, organised work area and perform closing sanitation procedures in compliance with health codes and third‑party audits.
- Perform basic equipment care, report malfunctions, and support safe operation of kitchen tools and machinery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum three years of relevant culinary or cook experience in a commercial or restaurant environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
