Neiman Marcus seeks a Beauty Sales Manager to lead the sales experience for one or more store departments, drive performance, manage teams and merchandise, and partner with Buyers and Client Development Leads. The role is on-site, reports to a Senior Group Manager, and includes evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling. Annual salary is $74,615.38–$93,269.23, with bonus eligibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive maximum sales and growth in line with company vision and values, partnering with other functional leads for the department.
- Oversee merchandise and communications with merchant and vendor partners, including presentation, returns, and damages.
- Manage team execution, anticipating and addressing risks and roadblocks within the department.
- Contribute to store strategic goals and set departmental priorities.
- Review business with applicable Buyers and discuss action plans to achieve positive results.
- Establish plans and strategies in partnership with Client Development Leads.
- Analyze internal and external customer behaviors, trends, and preferences, adjusting processes and standards accordingly, including focus programs.
- Plan and complete departmental budgets, ensuring guidelines are followed to minimize operating expenses and maximize revenue.
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom controls, as applicable.
- Manage people, product placement, and sales promotion within the department.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience, including luxury retail fashion experience.
- Track record of achieving results.
- History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
- Collaborative “win together” mentality.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
