Neiman Marcus in Tampa seeks a Beauty Advisor - La Prairie. Retail cosmetics role focused on clienteling, makeup consultations and sales ($13–$18/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, brand-aligned customer service following Neiman Marcus principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Drive individual and vendor line sales, meet event and departmental sales objectives, and exceed quota targets.
- Perform professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications, including pre-booked facial and consultation events.
- Develop and maintain client relationships using Neiman Marcus clienteling tools to record preferences and follow up to grow repeat business.
- Maintain a pristine, well-merchandised counter and uphold visual and operational standards for the La Prairie counter.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and Account Executives to represent the brand and support vendor initiatives.
- Participate in in‑house training programs and apply new product and service knowledge to client interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and willingness to learn proprietary Neiman Marcus systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Professional makeup and skincare consultation/application skills.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience, ideally in cosmetics or beauty sales, with demonstrated success in individual sales targets and client development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or cosmetology/esthetic certification preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
