The Beauty Advisor at Neiman Marcus delivers personalized cosmetics service, builds client relationships and sales, meets individual, vendor, event and department goals, and maintains a welcoming, well-merchandised counter. The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in cosmetics, and offers a full-time position with an hourly salary range of $10.00–$17.10.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, work effectively with team members, and establish new Neiman Marcus accounts while adhering to company standards and procedures.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events; maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
• Drive individual business using Neiman Marcus’s clienteling system.
• Model Neiman Marcus Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative, providing consistently high customer service.
• Maintain a positive image as a liaison between Neiman Marcus and the designated Account Executive.
• Use Neiman Marcus’s online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and product application through sale closing and customer follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, welcoming and properly merchandised selling counter.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience and a record of exceeding quota.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Neiman Marcus proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to work.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 10 to USD 17.10 per hour.
