The Beauty Advisor for La Mer drives individual and vendor sales, develops customer relationships through clienteling, provides makeup and treatment consultations, and maintains a properly merchandised counter. The role is full-time and pays $15.00–$23.10 per hour, depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and exceptional experiences throughout the customer journey, from initial approach and product application through sale completion and follow-up.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Build and maintain customer relationships as a brand expert and department representative, and establish new Neiman Marcus accounts.
• Represent Neiman Marcus positively in dealings with the designated Account Executive.
• Use Neiman Marcus’s online clienteling resource to record and maintain client information and preferences and drive individual business.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events.
• Maintain counter and selling-area standards, ensuring the area is clean, tidy, welcoming, and properly merchandised.
• Work effectively with team members while adhering consistently to company standards and procedures.
• Model the Neiman Marcus Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience, including exceeding quota.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Neiman Marcus proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the workplace.
• Ability to work well with others and independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications.

Skills

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 23.10 per hour.
