Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized client service from approach through sale and follow-up, modelling Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank).
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales goals through proactive selling and post-sale clienteling.
• Conduct professional make-up and skincare consultations and treatments; schedule and perform pre-booked facial consultation events.
• Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record client preferences, manage follow-ups and drive repeat business.
• Maintain a meticulously merchandised, clean and inviting counter that reflects brand standards.
• Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and Account Executives to execute vendor initiatives and in-store activations.
• Participate in in-house training programmes to remain current on product knowledge, application techniques and brand messaging.
• Close retail sales proficiently while managing multiple clients and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
• Proven sales success with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quotas.
• Professional make-up application and facial consultation skills.
• Comfortable using clienteling and CRM tools; able to learn proprietary software quickly.
• Strong organizational skills, business judgment and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently to build and manage a personal client book.

Skills

Experience

Minimum one year of retail sales experience, ideally within a cosmetics or beauty environment, with a documented record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
