Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, high-touch customer service from approach to application, sale closure and follow-up in accordance with Neiman Marcus selling principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event and department sales targets through proactive selling and client development.
- Perform professional make-up and treatment consultations and applications for Chantecaille and Natura Bissé clients.
- Utilize the Neiman Marcus online clienteling resource tool to record client profiles, preferences and purchase history and to drive repeat business.
- Plan and support pre-booked facial consultation events and vendor-led activations, maintaining strong relationships with assigned Account Executives.
- Maintain merchandising and counter standards to ensure a clean, well-presented and welcoming selling environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably within a customer-focused cosmetics or prestige beauty environment.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and delivering measurable sales results.
- Proficient in professional make-up application and in conducting treatment consultations.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling tools and retail software (Neiman Marcus clienteling system).
- Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to develop and drive a personal book of business.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of retail experience, ideally within a cosmetics or prestige beauty setting, with demonstrated sales success and experience running consultations and vendor-led events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or related beauty certification preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Bal Harbour, Florida, USA, with easy access to Miami.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
