Neiman Marcus in Austin seeks a full-time Beauty Advisor (Chantecaille) — onsite role driving cosmetics sales, consultations and client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service across approach, application, closing and follow-up, modelling Neiman Marcus service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event, and department sales targets through active selling and consultative beauty services.
- Manage client relationships using Neiman Marcus online clienteling resource tool to record preferences, schedule consultations and drive repeat business.
- Conduct professional make-up and treatment consultations and facilitate pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs.
- Maintain immaculate counter standards and visual presentation to ensure a welcoming, brand-appropriate selling environment.
- Act as a liaison with assigned Account Executives and vendor partners to support promotional activity and inventory initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics- or beauty-focused environment.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficient in professional make-up application and treatment consultations.
- Ability to learn and effectively use Neiman Marcus clienteling tools and other proprietary sales software.
- Strong organisational skills, sound business judgement and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Capacity to work independently to develop and drive a personal client book.

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty environment, with a proven record of sales performance and client development.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 10 to USD 19 per hour.
