Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, represent the department and brand as an expert, and open new Neiman Marcus accounts.
- Work effectively with team members and maintain a positive liaison with the designated Account Executive.
- Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events.
- Maintain a properly merchandised, clean, tidy, and welcoming counter or selling area.
- Proficiently close retail sales and focus on the customer experience from initial approach and application through sale and follow-up.
- Use Neiman Marcus principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
- Use Neiman Marcus' online clienteling resource to record and maintain client information and preferences, drive personal business, and create success.
- Adhere consistently to company standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
- Demonstrated successful sales experience and a record of exceeding quota.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the working environment.
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive a successful business.
- Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
- Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.
