Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests professionally at the host stand and maintain a welcoming presence at the door.
- Manage reservations and VIP bookings using the OpenTable platform; respond to inquiries about hours, specials and events.
- Organize seating to maximize dining room capacity and optimize staff deployment during service.
- Monitor server performance and maintain the flow of service to established standards, including proper seating to each wait station.
- Handle transactions in line with accounting procedures and maintain familiarity with the store POS system.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and assist with light physical tasks such as moving furniture and setting highchairs.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, uniform presentation and menu cleanliness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Familiarity with the OpenTable reservation platform.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays and to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

Experience
Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant host, or luxury retail customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; demonstrated customer service excellence and reservation handling experience are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
