Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of customers, colleagues and store premises through proactive loss prevention measures.
- Conduct monitoring and surveillance to identify indicators of internal and external theft, fraud, and suspicious activity.
- Lead and execute internal and external investigations, documenting findings and preserving evidence in compliance with company protocols.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident, recovery, accident and audit reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Support inventory control through audits, training and remedial actions to reduce shrinkage.
- Assist with emergency response and de-escalation of conflict situations; support store operations and corporate loss-prevention initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of loss prevention / asset protection experience.
- Proven investigative and conflict management / de-escalation capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to accurate report preparation.
- Customer-focused orientation and the ability to work collaboratively with store teams.
- Basic computer proficiency; ability to use incident reporting systems and standard office applications.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet any state-specific licensing requirements as applicable.

Experience
At least 1 year of practical experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or a closely related security role within retail or distribution environments.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or coursework in criminal justice, security management or a related discipline preferred.
