Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general safety and security of customers, employees and store premises.
  • Assess and assist with emergency situations and respond to incidents in accordance with policy.
  • Conduct monitoring and surveillance to detect indicators of internal or external theft and fraud.
  • Perform external and internal investigations; gather evidence and document findings thoroughly.
  • Prepare and complete incident reports for theft, merchandise recoveries, accidents and audit results.
  • Reduce inventory loss through audits, training and collaboration with store teams.
  • Support and participate in store operations and loss-prevention programs to protect people, product and profit.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in loss prevention, asset protection or related investigations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to preserve positive shopper interactions while enforcing policy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for incident reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Basic proficiency with computer software and electronic reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated investigative aptitude, conflict management and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
