Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of customers, employees and store premises through visible presence and proactive risk mitigation.
- Assess and respond to emergency situations, coordinating with store leadership and emergency services as required.
- Conduct monitoring and surveillance to detect indicators of internal and external theft, fraud and other security incidents.
- Lead and support internal and external investigations, documenting findings and preserving evidence in accordance with policy.
- Prepare and complete incident reports related to thefts, merchandise recoveries, accidents and internal audits.
- Reduce inventory loss through audits, training, and by supporting loss‑prevention operating procedures.
- Support store operations programs and partner with frontline teams to balance security needs with exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection (retail experience preferred).
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to protect store assets while preserving guest experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and investigative documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency for incident reporting and use of store systems.
- Demonstrated investigative, conflict‑management and de‑escalation skills.
- Flexible availability to respond to changes in schedule and work evenings/weekends as retail demand requires.

Experience
At least one year of hands‑on experience in loss prevention or asset protection, ideally within a retail environment, including conducting surveillance, investigations, and preparing formal incident reports.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in loss prevention, security or related fields preferred.
