Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of customers, employees and store premises through visible and covert presence.
- Monitor store activity using surveillance systems and floor observation to identify indicators of external and internal theft or fraud.
- Conduct external and internal investigations; document incidents, recoveries and evidence with precise, contemporaneous reports.
- Prepare and complete detailed reports related to theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations and audits.
- Execute inventory-control initiatives and audits to reduce shrink; deliver training to store teams on loss-prevention best practices.
- Assess and assist with emergency situations and support store operations programs as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of loss prevention, asset protection, or related security experience.
- Customer-focused mindset with professional interpersonal skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; accurate report writing.
- Basic computer proficiency for incident reporting and documentation.
- Demonstrated investigative ability and conflict-management skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
