Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety of customers, employees and the store through proactive presence and patrols.
- Monitor sales floors and back‑of‑house areas via surveillance and observational techniques to detect internal and external theft and fraud.
- Conduct and document internal and external investigations; prepare detailed incident, recovery and audit reports.
- Support inventory control through audits, training and shrink‑reduction initiatives.
- Assess and assist during emergency situations and coordinate with store leadership and emergency services as required.
- Participate in store operations programs and collaborate with store teams to protect people, product and profits.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection or retail security.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security, investigative or law‑enforcement training preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear incident reports.
- Demonstrable investigative, observational and conflict de‑escalation skills.
- Basic proficiency with computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office or store loss prevention systems).
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to respond calmly to unexpected situations.

Minimum of one year of hands‑on experience in loss prevention, asset protection or retail security, including conducting investigations, surveillance and preparing incident reports.
