Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct professional fittings and perform alterations to luxury garments, advising customers on fit and alteration options during appointments.
- Model Neiman Marcus customer service principles and cultivate lasting client relationships through attentive, personalized service.
- Use standard sewing, pressing and spotting equipment as well as specialty machines to complete high-quality repairs and modifications.
- Follow all store, alteration workroom and Tailor procedures, ensuring consistency, quality control and confidentiality of client orders.
- Meet individual productivity and performance goals while maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Support store and department initiatives and perform ad hoc duties as required to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional fitting and tailoring experience working with high-end or luxury merchandise.
- Proven ability to fit and alter a wide range of garments to luxury-quality standards.
- Technical competence with specialty fabrics and finishes; experience with leather, knits, double-face fabrics, beading and fine tailoring is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience using both standard and specialty machines in an alterations workroom.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least 3 years of hands-on fitting and tailoring experience on high-end or luxury garments, with a record of delivering precise, customer-focused alterations.
