Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and build structural processes.
- Drive positive outcomes by setting objectives and successfully measuring and monitoring progress and results.
- Create a professional work environment by communicating and exemplifying company standards of excellence.
- Build effective teamwork between the selling organization and the Alterations department.
- Maintain consistently high customer service by recruiting, selecting, training, and developing professional Alterations Associates.
- Provide ongoing education, assessment, and performance feedback to associates on quality, productivity, service, and alterations policies and procedures.
- Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
- Provide leadership and support to Alterations Associates to deliver outstanding service and meet the demands of clients and the selling organization.
Qualifications
- A four-year degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of management experience with comparable volume, or a proven track record of successfully managing an operations workforce and achieving results.
- Fitting and tailoring experience in a high-end or luxury merchandise setting is preferred but not required.
- The ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the alterations industry, including the fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
- Proficiency with available technology, including Word and Excel.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
