Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all alterations associates to deliver outstanding service and meet client and selling organization demands
  • Organize and establish structural processes for the alterations department operations
  • Drive positive outcomes through defined objectives while measuring and monitoring progress and results
  • Create a professional work environment by exemplifying the company's standards of excellence
  • Build effective teamwork and communication between the selling organization and the alterations department
  • Recruit, select, train, and develop quality professional alterations associates to maintain consistently high service levels
  • Deliver ongoing education, assessment, and performance feedback to associates regarding quality, productivity, service standards, and alterations policies and procedures
  • Manage ad hoc operational responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or proven track record of success managing operations workforce and achieving results
  • Knowledge of the alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
  • Proficiency with technology platforms including Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Experience

3+ years of management experience in operations, workforce management, or comparable role. 4-year degree preferred.
