Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and support all alterations associates to deliver outstanding service and meet client and selling organization demands
- Organize and establish structural processes for the alterations department operations
- Drive positive outcomes through defined objectives while measuring and monitoring progress and results
- Create a professional work environment by exemplifying the company's standards of excellence
- Build effective teamwork and communication between the selling organization and the alterations department
- Recruit, select, train, and develop quality professional alterations associates to maintain consistently high service levels
- Deliver ongoing education, assessment, and performance feedback to associates regarding quality, productivity, service standards, and alterations policies and procedures
- Manage ad hoc operational responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or proven track record of success managing operations workforce and achieving results
- Knowledge of the alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
- Proficiency with technology platforms including Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Skills
Experience
3+ years of management experience in operations, workforce management, or comparable role. Experience in fitting, tailoring, or the alterations industry in a high-end or luxury merchandise setting is preferred but not required. Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments is preferred but not required.
Education
4-year degree preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,808 to USD 107,260 per annum.
