NARS is seeking Makeup Artists for counters in Eindhoven, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht, working 24–32 hours depending on the location. The role delivers personalized makeup services, customer experiences and sales results, while supporting counter operations, events and brand representation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Sell NARS products by applying makeup during services and providing personalized advice based on product knowledge.
- Achieve sales targets and daily sales objectives.
- Apply the NARS GREAT Experience service to every customer.
- Represent NARS Style on the shop floor and at events.
- Act as a brand ambassador at counters and on social media.
- Keep the counter and products clean and tidy, maintain stock, execute visual merchandising, and report daily sales.
- Follow company protocols set by the Counter Manager and Retail & Education Manager.
- Offer customer services at NARS counters, book appointments and masterclasses, and attract passing traffic.
- Report and calculate sales progress toward targets daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Work weekends and late shifts, remain flexible with schedules, respect rosters, accommodate events, and request time off from a manager in advance.
- Maintain a strong work ethic to build trust and brand loyalty.
Qualifications
- Completed training and qualifications in makeup artistry.
- Commercially minded and results-oriented, with strength in advising and assisting national and international customers.
- Creative, able to identify opportunities and translate them into plans and execution.
- Excellent social and communication skills; commercially minded, presentable, and self-reliant.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively by email, telephone, verbally, and nonverbally, including listening, giving and receiving feedback, and giving and following instructions.
- Able to convey knowledge clearly.
- Highly organized and structured.
- Flexible availability for 24–32 hours, depending on location.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Able to work effectively and harmoniously as part of a team, treating colleagues with respect and contributing creativity and passion toward shared goals.
