The Counter Manager represents NARS at the beauty counter, advises customers, drives sales, recruits and retains clients, leads the team, and oversees stock, merchandising, promotions, events, social media content and reporting. This is a full-time, permanent position in Munich, with an annual gross salary of €34,000–€36,000 depending on qualifications, experience and individual competencies, plus performance-based commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take independent responsibility for counter sales and provide expert advice to end consumers.
- Professionally execute sell-through initiatives, promotions, and events.
- Independently and proactively recruit new customers.
- Build and maintain a loyal customer base.
- Create regular social media content, demonstrating a particular affinity for and openness to social media platforms.
- Lead and motivate the team effectively.
- Ensure stock availability.
- Maintain high-quality product presentation and implement merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain regular communication and alignment with the manager, and prepare reports with care.
Qualifications
- A motivated and enthusiastic personality, a structured and independent working style, a strong service mindset, and a keen affinity for luxury and luxury products.
- Complete identification with NARS and a strong grounding in makeup.
- A passionate makeup artist with a strong sales orientation.
- Professional makeup expertise and very good product and market knowledge.
- Very good communication skills to engage end consumers and retail employees with NARS.
- Enjoyment of working in a team.
