NARS is seeking a Business Manager for its John Lewis counter on Oxford Street, London, working 37.5 hours. The role leads and develops a small team, delivers customer engagement, drives sales and KPIs, builds customer loyalty, and partners with the Area Manager, Education and HR on business planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate a small team, developing its ability to deliver the customer engagement approach.
- Build strong customer connections through the brand’s history and high-performance formulas, and encourage the team to identify and maximise sales opportunities.
- Take accountability for driving the business.
- Use networking skills to recruit new customers through external partners, engage existing customers and build brand loyalty to NARS and to the Business Manager as an Artist.
- Partner with the Area Manager, Education and HR to develop a business plan that drives team KPIs and delivers results.
- Use actions, communication and customer connections to positively influence clients’ feelings about themselves.
Qualifications
- Retail management experience.
- Strong artistry experience, ideally with a qualification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the Area Sales & Education Manager about business performance.
- Ability to drive KPIs and sales targets within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience coaching and developing others.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
