NARS is seeking an Assistant Manager for Selfridges Manchester Trafford on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 37.5 hours per week over five days. The role supports counter management by delivering the customer engagement approach, coaching and motivating the team, driving sales targets, and assuming leadership accountability when the manager is absent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver the NARS customer engagement approach, building strong customer connections through the brand’s history and high-performance formulas to foster brand loyalty.
- Lead by example as a NARS Artist and support customers through artistry, service, communication and personal connections.
- Coach and develop team members in partnership with management.
- Drive the team to achieve sales targets and deliver on individual goals.
- Support team leadership and assume accountability when the manager is absent.
- Motivate and engage team members to contribute to a successful business.
Qualifications
- Must have held a leadership position in a retail business.
- Track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Strong experience in artistry, ideally with a qualification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with and lead a team.
- Ability to drive KPIs and sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills.
