Role & Responsibilities
- Independently manage and monitor outbound shipments and all associated administrative tasks
- Coordinate shipping activities with carriers, warehouse operations, and internal departments
- Create and process shipping documents and corresponding labels
- Ensure on-time deliveries while strictly adhering to all relevant regulations and requirements
- Participate in logistics projects aimed at continuous process optimization
- Maintain and analyze shipping key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure smooth operational execution
Qualifications
- Solid professional experience in logistics or completed apprenticeship/university degree with focus on logistics
- Initial experience in team leadership preferred
- Experience in project work advantageous
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in both German and English
- Assertive and communicative personality with diplomatic skills
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient with Jira (ticket and task management), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Sound knowledge of customs procedures and export processing
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late) and on Saturdays
Skills
Experience
Solid professional experience in logistics, or alternatively a completed apprenticeship or university degree in logistics. Initial experience in team leadership and project work are advantageous.
Education
Completed apprenticeship or university degree in logistics, or equivalent professional experience in the logistics sector.
