Mytheresa seeks a Senior Still Life Photographer for its Milan Studio Production team to create technical and creative fine jewelry imagery and oversee studio workflows. This is a fixed-term, full-time, on-site role under the CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (Commercio), with a starting gross annual base salary of €36,000; final compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications and objective, gender-neutral selection criteria.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce high-standard still life photography for fine jewelry SKUs, creating both technical and creative assets.
- Maintain consistent lighting, framing, color and visual standards while managing large volumes of SKUs.
- Set up and manage studio lighting, camera equipment and tethered capture workflows.
- Manage the fine jewelry studio, ensuring SKUs are handled carefully, equipment is functional and the workspace is organized.
- Work closely with the post-production fine jewelry team to align on asset quality.
- Proactively present ideas for improvements to equipment and creative assets.
- Support the Team Lead by raising issues and presenting solutions.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience photographing fine jewelry and watches.
- A strong portfolio in fine jewelry.
- Knowledge of high-end metals and gemstones.
- Proficiency with studio lighting, macro photography and tethered capture workflows.
- Experience with Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.
- A resilient, can-do and problem-solving approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- High standards and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines while ensuring asset quality.
- Experience with focus stacking is a plus.
