Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse, document, and resolve clarification cases arising during the inbound process
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and quality standards across warehouse operations
- Verify delivery documents and invoices; create system-based goods receipts in ERP systems
- Monitor, analyse, and escalate deviations in key performance indicators within the assigned area
- Communicate with internal partners (Purchasing, Finance) and external partners (freight forwarders) to resolve shipping and logistics issues
- Prepare, facilitate, and conduct follow-up on operational meetings
- Supervise and lead small support teams within the inbound department
- Manage shift-based operations including early, late, and Saturday shifts
Qualifications
- Solid professional experience in logistics, or completed apprenticeship/university degree with focus on logistics
- Initial experience in team leadership (strongly preferred)
- Experience in project management or coordination
- Fluent German and strong English language proficiency (written and spoken)
- Assertive communication skills and diplomatic approach to stakeholder management
- Proficient with Jira (ticket and task management), ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and export processing
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late) and on Saturdays
Skills
Experience
Solid professional experience in logistics, or completion of an apprenticeship or university degree in logistics. Initial experience in team leadership is a strong advantage, as is proven project management experience.
Education
Completed apprenticeship or university degree, ideally with a focus on logistics. Equivalent professional experience in logistics operations is acceptable.
