Mytheresa seeks Division Manager for Fine Jewelry in Leipzig, Germany. Lead operations team managing luxury jewelry supply chain with full P&L responsibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small specialized team through a restructuring phase, providing both technical and disciplinary guidance
- Manage and optimize the complete Fine Jewelry process chain, including goods receipt, warehousing, dispatch, and return management
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for precious metals and gemstones, ensuring each piece meets the highest standards
- Collaborate across departments (customer service, procurement, logistics leadership) to resolve cross-functional process challenges
- Monitor live operations and logistics dashboards to identify risks early and actively manage process improvements
- Contribute to strategic projects for departmental development and identify optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- Formal training in jewelry craft (Goldsmith), gemmology, or equivalent qualification in fine jewelry
- Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing team members
- Fluent spoken and written German and English
- Expertise in fine jewelry, precious metals, and gemstones (diamonds, rubies, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications and warehouse management systems (WMS/LFS)
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in team leadership within a logistics or quality-focused environment; demonstrated success managing complex processes in a structured, precision-oriented setting.
Education
Completed apprenticeship or formal training as a Goldsmith (m/f/d), Gemmologist, or equivalent qualification in fine jewelry is highly preferred.
