Role & Responsibilities
- Generate accurate delivery forecasts to support business planning, stock management and resource allocation
- Produce weekly delivery and performance reports, analyzing key trends and insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Prioritize deliveries and workload in alignment with departmental objectives, trading priorities and business needs
- Manage supplier deliveries to maximize product availability and full-price selling opportunities, proactively mitigating delays and risks
- Collaborate with Trade, Transport and cross-functional teams to ensure shipping, customs and compliance requirements are met
- Analyze returns data, resolve warehouse and delivery queries, and implement corrective actions to reduce return rates and improve operational efficiency
- Manage delivery-related negotiations, including late delivery discounts, cancellations, return-to-vendor requests and stock-on-return agreements while maintaining accurate inventory records and website stock status
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated ability to manage, analyze and present large volumes of data accurately
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with confidence in interpreting data to drive commercial decisions
- Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional confidence in engaging with colleagues, suppliers and business partners
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders in diverse functions
Skills
Experience
Entry-level candidates with strong analytical capability and advanced spreadsheet proficiency are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in merchandising, supply chain, inventory management, or trading environments is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; GCSEs or A-Levels or International Baccalaureate or equivalent qualification preferred.
