Moynat seeks an experienced Quality Coordinator in Paris to oversee product standards, supplier quality, and manufacturing compliance in luxury leather goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define quality criteria for new collections and maintain material reference specifications (technical briefs)
- Monitor regulatory standards and ensure compliance with evolving industry requirements
- Validate production shipments and conduct comprehensive quality inspections on finished products delivered by workshops
- Track and analyze corrective action plans to identify systemic quality improvements
- Manage in-process quality controls and serve as the principal contact for workshop quality issues
- Schedule and oversee supplier audits, ensuring proper implementation of corrective modifications
- Prepare quality control reports and meeting minutes for defect reviews
- Communicate monthly retail feedback to workshops and escalate quality alerts across the organization
Qualifications
- Degree from an Engineering or Business School
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in leather goods (product development, manufacturing, or quality control)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English; Italian language skills a plus
- Demonstrated rigor, analytical and synthetic thinking
- Strong pedagogical abilities and excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
