Business Analyst Intern at Moynat, Paris: 6-month on-site internship in Finance & Operations analyzing sales, financial performance, and driving business insights.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance by product category, customer nationality, boutique location, and geographic market
- Identify seasonality trends and key commercial periods across product and regional segments
- Conduct financial impact analysis including currency fluctuation effects on sales and profitability
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) with variance analysis and gap identification
- Generate regular reporting dashboards and performance summaries for Supply, Merchandising, and Retail teams
- Provide data-driven insights and operational recommendations to support decision-making
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics tools and reporting frameworks
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master's program (Bac+4/5) in Engineering School, University, or equivalent with specialization in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence
- Demonstrated analytical rigor and ability to structure and interpret complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail with proactive approach to problem-solving
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in data analysis, management control, or business analysis preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
- Understanding of prompt engineering concepts and AI applications in business contexts
