Moynat seeks a Business Analyst Intern in Paris for a 6-month role analyzing sales performance, financial metrics, and operational insights to support strategic decision-making across the luxury leather goods maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive sales analysis across product categories, identifying best-sellers, rotational performance, and seasonal trends
- Analyze sales performance by customer nationality and geographic region, with particular attention to store-level and country-level performance metrics
- Perform financial impact analysis, including foreign exchange effects on sales and profitability
- Evaluate product mix, customer composition, and geographic revenue drivers to identify performance levers
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), flagging variances and deviations from targets
- Produce regular analytical reports and dashboards for Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Retail stakeholders
- Synthesize quantitative findings into actionable strategic insights and operational recommendations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of performance tracking tools and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Systems, or equivalent program
- Demonstrated analytical rigor and ability to structure and interpret complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail with proven capability in data analysis or related quantitative work
- Proactive disposition with genuine intellectual curiosity regarding AI applications in enterprise environments
