Moynat — Paris: Business Analyst Intern (6 months) in Finance & Operations, analysing sales, KPIs and delivering data‑driven recommendations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyse sales performance by product category, best‑sellers and stock rotation to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Segment sales and client behaviour by nationality, boutique and country to support regional strategy.
  • Monitor seasonality and detect peak trading periods and trends to inform merchandising and inventory planning.
  • Assess financial performance levers, including FX impacts on sales and profitability and product/customer/geography mix analyses.
  • Track and interpret KPIs, identify variances versus targets and escalate actionable findings.
  • Produce regular reporting packages for Supply, Merchandising and Retail teams, highlighting key insights and operational recommendations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tracking tools, dashboards and analytical methods.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master’s programme (Bac+4/5) in Engineering, Business Analysis, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or an equivalent discipline.
  • Demonstrated analytical rigour, structured thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and proactivity with a clear interest in AI applications in business.
  • Prior exposure to data analysis, management control or business analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent command of Excel; familiarity with data visualisation tools and modern analytical workflows is desirable.
