Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the wholesale commercial strategy for the North UK, driving sales growth across department stores, specialist retailers and key national accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of key wholesale accounts: build relationships with senior buyers, negotiate terms, secure merchandising and promotional placements.
- Set and monitor sales targets, produce regular forecasts and pipeline reports, and ensure achievement of revenue and margin objectives.
- Coordinate trade marketing and product launches with marketing, visual merchandising and distribution to maximise promotional effectiveness.
- Oversee order management, stock allocations and replenishment priorities in close collaboration with supply chain and inventory teams.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage pricing and margin architecture, and ensure compliance with commercial policies and brand standards.
- Provide commercial analysis and post‑campaign reporting to inform assortment, allocation and future commercial decisions.
- Represent Montblanc at industry events, buying weeks and internal cross‑functional meetings; mentor junior wholesale staff where applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in wholesale account management within luxury goods, watches, leather goods or premium accessories.
- Minimum five years' commercial experience managing key accounts or regional wholesale territories in the UK.
- Demonstrable success meeting sales targets, negotiating commercial agreements and driving profitable growth.
- Strong analytical capability with experience producing sales forecasts, P&L analysis and trade reports.
