Montblanc seeks a Wholesale Manager in Hamburg — lead B2B sales, manage distributor relationships and grow luxury wholesale business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute wholesale sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin and distribution targets across assigned territory and accounts.
- Manage key wholesale and distributor relationships, including contract negotiation, assortment planning and commercial terms.
- Drive account development through bespoke trade marketing initiatives, product allocation and collaborative sell-in plans with retail partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and channel performance to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (product, marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure consistent brand presentation and timely supply to partners.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports and business reviews; own P&L drivers for the wholesale channel.
- Coach and mentor local sales representatives or third-party sales teams to elevate commercial execution and client servicing standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in wholesale, key account or B2B sales within luxury goods (writing instruments, leather, watches or adjacent categories).
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements with distributors and multi-store retail partners.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in sales forecasting, KPI tracking and margin management.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Right to work in Germany and willingness to travel regionally as required.
