Role & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement global HQ visual merchandising guidelines with strategic market adaptations while preserving Montblanc's luxury heritage
  • Train sales advisors on daily shop floor maintenance, product presentation techniques, and display standards
  • Develop zoning plans aligned with business objectives and compile detailed post-installation photo documentation
  • Own and manage the Visual Merchandising budget, including planning, tracking, and executing purchases for point-of-sale materials, window installations, and VM tools across all locations
  • Partner with local production vendors and contractors to oversee seasonal window installations, pop-up builds, and minor in-store production initiatives
  • Oversee local storage facilities, conduct VM stock counts, and maintain reuse and recycling workflows for seasonal props
  • Maintain visual identity standards across all retail boutiques, travel retail, and wholesale points of sale through in-person regional travel and development of clear VM planograms
  • Support marketing and external events by providing zoning plans, VM setup, and logistics coordination
  • Collect store feedback and support needs to report to the regional team for corresponding actions
  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between Australian commercial teams and the South Asia Regional Visual Merchandising office, balancing competing retail, wholesale, and leadership priorities

Qualifications

  • University degree in marketing, design management, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in luxury retail visual merchandising or equivalent
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing VM production for window displays and pop-in installations
  • Proven experience controlling VM expenses and managing external production vendors and contractors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail with demonstrated creative thinking and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills capable of navigating matrixed reporting structures and balancing competing stakeholder priorities
  • Ability to multitask, work reliably under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel periodically across Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and regional points of sale
