Montblanc is hiring a Training Manager in Taipei to lead retail learning, onboarding and trainer certification for store teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional retail learning strategy aligned with Montblanc’s brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Design, develop and deliver blended learning programmes (product knowledge, clienteling, sales techniques, visual standards and soft skills) for store teams and managers.
- Operate as a train-the-trainer lead: certify in-market trainers, conduct workshops and coach store leaders to cascade best practices.
- Manage the training calendar, coordinate with HR, retail operations and wholesale partners, and ensure timely onboarding for new hires.
- Assess learning needs through audits, performance metrics and stakeholder interviews; translate gaps into targeted interventions.
- Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, post-training assessments and behavioural observation; present insights and continuous improvement plans to regional leadership.
- Ensure learning content and delivery uphold brand standards and are localized for the Taipei market where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience building and delivering retail training programmes within a luxury goods environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading train-the-trainer initiatives and coaching frontline managers to improve sales and client service performance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with HR, retail operations and regional leadership.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage multilingual retail teams.
- Comfortable working across multiple channels (retail, wholesale, e‑commerce) and adapting content for local market needs.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in learning & development or retail training, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or lead role within luxury retail or premium consumer goods. Experience running regional programmes and certifying in-market trainers is essential.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communication or a related discipline preferred; relevant professional qualifications in L&D or coaching are advantageous.
