Montblanc seeks a Team Lead Master Data Management in Hamburg, Germany. Lead MDM team, oversee SAP integrations, and ensure data quality across the luxury brand's global operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor global SAP integrations and implementations
- Oversee product master data workflows and data consistency across systems
- Lead and provide disciplinary and technical guidance to the Master Data Management team
- Monitor and optimize the PEGA workflow portal, including new implementations and modifications
- Conduct data quality audits, analyses, and generate reports on master data integrity
- Perform workflow analysis and coordinate troubleshooting and error resolution
- Advise business departments on data governance practices and master data policies
- Develop and monitor training frameworks and oversee team capability development
- Establish and implement sustainable data governance strategies and processes
Qualifications
- Completed tertiary education with a minimum of three years' experience in a comparable master data management or data governance leadership role
- Advanced proficiency in SAP systems and data management modules
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering functions)
- First experience or familiarity with Power BI or advanced analytics tools preferred
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with strong discipline and technical mentoring capacity
- Excellent process documentation and optimization skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and rapid problem-solving aptitude
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of professional experience in master data management, data governance, or a comparable leadership position. Demonstrated success managing teams, implementing data quality initiatives, and overseeing system integrations in a complex, multinational organization. Proven track record of process improvement and driving data consistency across enterprise platforms.
Education
Completed university degree (Hochschulstudium) in a relevant discipline such as business administration, information systems, data science, or related field.
