Montblanc seeks a Supply Chain Trainee in Milan — internship supporting planning, inventory and supplier coordination for a luxury goods brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support demand planning and forecasting activities by compiling sales data, analysing trends and maintaining forecast accuracy metrics.
- Assist with inventory management, stock reconciliations and cycle count processes to optimise availability and minimise obsolescence.
- Process purchase orders and sales orders; liaise with suppliers, internal buyers and logistics providers to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Prepare regular operational reports and KPI dashboards for supply chain stakeholders using Excel and presentation tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across order fulfilment, warehousing and supplier performance processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, wholesale, production, finance) to resolve supply chain exceptions and support product launches.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Previous internship or academic project experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or operations preferred.
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail and comfort working with numerical data.
- Effective communicator, able to work in cross‑functional, multicultural teams and handle stakeholder follow‑up.
