Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct, evaluate, and finalize quality inspections on external component suppliers
- Qualify and assess new suppliers through systematic evaluation processes
- Plan and execute recurring process audits at supplier facilities across the DACH region and EU
- Support development projects with quality guidance on external component specifications and compliance
- Manage European supplier relationships on quality, process, and technical matters
- Investigate, document, and resolve quality deviations using root-cause analysis and corrective action tracking
- Apply quality tools and methodologies including FMEA, PPAP, 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why analysis
- Act as central liaison between manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and supplier partners
- Develop and implement preventive supplier quality initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Professional experience managing and auditing international supplier operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in quality methodologies and quality management systems
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English, with ability to collaborate across cultures
- Strong problem-solving abilities and drive for continuous improvement
- Self-directed work style with independent responsibility for project execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% within the DACH region and EU
