Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the quantitative and numerical aspects of merchandising planning while maintaining deep product affinity, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for merchandising on planning topics, analyzing product performance trends and communicating forecasts to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Propose and validate targets for novelty planning by category, region, and channel for showroom buying periods, balancing sales opportunity with stock risk mitigation
  • Continuously review and optimize merchandising processes and tools to align with evolving business requirements
  • Support the Merchandising Director with analytical preparation for strategic meetings, projects, and KPI development
  • Provide comprehensive 360-degree business insights to headquarters merchandisers, contextualizing individual category performance within the broader portfolio
  • Manage, train, and develop assigned direct report(s)

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, STEM subject, or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ years of relevant merchandising planning or quantitative analysis experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis and data management, including hands-on proficiency with large datasets
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational discipline, and process orientation
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Fluent English language proficiency; German language capability is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of the luxury goods industry is desirable
