Montblanc is hiring a Sales Associate in Tokyo — join the boutique team to deliver luxury client service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised service to high-net-worth and aspirational clients, cultivating long-term relationships through clienteling and proactive outreach.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maintaining a thorough knowledge of Montblanc’s product categories and craftsmanship.
  • Execute boutique standards for visual merchandising, product presentation and store upkeep consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Operate POS and CRM systems to process transactions, record client data and manage after-sales service and repairs.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures; coordinate with the store manager on merchandising and stock allocation.
  • Contribute to team performance through sharing market feedback, participating in product training and supporting store initiatives and events.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably within luxury goods, accessories, watches or premium lifestyle brands (1–3 years preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver personalised, discreet client service and to develop repeat clientele.
  • Strong numeracy and cash-handling skills with familiarity operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Legally authorised to work in Japan and available to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Professional presentation and fluency in service standards typical of luxury retail environments.
