Montblanc in Sydney seeks a Casual Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver impeccable, personalized client service in line with Montblanc brand standards to convert and retain clients.
  • Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and effective clienteling.
  • Maintain boutique presentation and merchandising to prescribed VM guidelines, ensuring merchandise is replenished and displayed to maximise sell-through.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately, and manage cash and returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Develop and sustain client relationships through proactive outreach, appointment management and follow-up.
  • Stay product-literate across Montblanc categories (writing instruments, leather, watches, accessories) and communicate product heritage and craftsmanship to clients.
  • Support stock control, inventory counts and loss-prevention procedures; report discrepancies promptly.
  • Participate in in-store events, product launches and mandatory training sessions; represent the brand at external client-facing initiatives when required.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Professional, polished presentation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays (casual hours).
  • Current NSW RSA not required for retail, but any in-store licensing requirements must be met.
  • Previous experience in luxury or premium retail is strongly preferred; retail sales experience is required.
