Montblanc seeks a Sales Associate to manage sales channels and partner relationships, develop customer accounts, negotiate solutions and contracts, oversee pricing, performance metrics, CRM and compliance, and deliver product education. The role also serves as a team subject matter expert and supervises more junior colleagues.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales channel, such as direct, online, or retail sales, and develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify business opportunities, set sales targets, and monitor performance to ensure channel goals are met or exceeded.
  • Manage channel partner relationships, negotiate contracts, and provide training and support to help partners sell products and services effectively.
  • Develop relationship management plans for complex prospective customer accounts, building relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers to enable effective information exchange and issue resolution.
  • Set objectives for sales calls; tailor and deliver presentations to decision-makers and influencers; gather and analyze relevant information; and secure agreement on customer requirements.
  • Cultivate a business-sector network and represent the organization at industry events to obtain market intelligence and enhance its visibility and reputation, as well as those of its products and services.
  • Configure product-and-service solutions and contractual terms for customers’ mid- to long-term needs, incorporating input from internal specialists; present solutions and negotiate agreements within commercial parameters, or review and authorize team members’ non-standard proposals, escalating issues as needed.
  • Manage pricing and terms projects and negotiate pricing and terms with strategic external partners.
  • Control assigned business performance metrics to ensure alignment with financial goals and objectives.
  • Manage a contract portfolio and negotiate service-level agreements; plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to major contracts.
  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of the CRM system within the area of responsibility, identifying and communicating opportunities for system improvement.
  • Implement and oversee compliance management for assigned segments of external partners.
  • Develop product education courses to address identified needs, improve performance, and meet business requirements.
  • Serve as a team subject matter expert in technology, policy, regulation, or operational management; maintain external accreditations and current knowledge of regulations and industry best practices through continuing professional development, conferences, and specialist media.
  • Ensure activities and responsibilities comply with the company’s diversity and inclusion guidelines.
