Montblanc seeks Sales Associate in Mexico City — client-facing luxury retail role focused on sales, clienteling and brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to high-net-worth and aspirational clients to achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-up and a meticulous approach to after-sales service.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across Montblanc categories — writing instruments, leather goods, watches and accessories — and conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
- Execute brand merchandising and visual standards, maintain boutique floor sets and ensure stock integrity including receiving, tagging and inventory reconciliation.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and perform accurate cash handling, returns and exchanges following company policies.
- Support store operations including appointment management, client events, pre- and post-sale administration and collaboration with regional teams on local initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or premium retail sales, preferably within watches, leather goods, accessories or jewellery.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and building repeat client business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a polished, client-focused manner appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and evenings; flexible and dependable availability for boutique schedules.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or boutique sales with evidence of meeting sales KPIs and cultivating high-value client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in business, hospitality or luxury retail is advantageous.
