The Sales Associate develops store sales and client relationships, delivers service in line with Montblanc standards, and supports after-sales cases, stock management, merchandising, and store operations. The role is full-time in Kuala Lumpur.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop store sales turnover in line with the store strategy, meet targets set by the Store Manager, respect the discount policy, and achieve the Store Manager’s key performance indicators.
- Welcome and assist clients in accordance with Montblanc’s standards in-store, by phone, by email, and at events; advise clients, support their purchase decisions, and ensure each sale is handled appropriately.
- Build long-term client relationships by identifying prospects, following up with new local and international clients, inviting clients to activations and events, and conducting post-event follow-up.
- Handle each after-sales service case according to Montblanc’s standards, follow up on cases, and communicate problems to the Store Manager.
- Support stock management, including receiving and transferring merchandise, participating in inventory management and stocktakes, ensuring products are handled and priced correctly, and maintaining merchandising in line with store priorities, cleanliness, and pricing standards.
- Comply with group processes and procedures for sales, discounts, after-sales service, exchanges, and related matters.
- Participate actively in Store Manager-led meetings, provide feedback, and propose ideas and actions.
- Attend training and consult available materials to develop understanding of the brand, products, and new collections.
- Stay informed about the business through magazines and regular competitor store checks.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of retail experience handling multiple product categories, with familiarity with luxury retail requirements.
- Digitally savvy and able to learn new technologies, including mobile apps, social media, Zoom, and Teams, for clienteling and internal communications.
