Montblanc seeks an Operation and Planning Manager in Mexico City, Mexico — lead demand planning, inventory and S&OP for the local market.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end operational planning for the Mexico market, including demand forecasting, inventory allocation and replenishment across retail and wholesale channels.
- Develop and execute S&OP cycles in coordination with commercial, merchandising and supply-chain stakeholders to balance product availability and working capital.
- Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, sell-through, ageing and stock cover; propose corrective actions and process improvements to optimise turnover and margins.
- Manage planning processes for product launches, seasonal peaks and promotional events; ensure timely flows from sourcing to store and e-commerce fulfilment.
- Coordinate with regional distribution centres, external logistics providers and local retail operations to resolve supply exceptions and ensure service-level targets.
- Drive cross-functional projects (systems, process automation, inventory reduction initiatives) and mentor a small planning/operations team where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, inventory management or operations within retail or luxury goods, with at least 2 years in a people/leadership role.
- Proven experience implementing S&OP processes and managing seasonal/launch planning cycles.
- Strong analytical aptitude with hands-on experience in forecasting, KPI analysis and inventory optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence commercial and supply-chain partners.
- Business-level Spanish and professional proficiency in English preferred.
- Availability for occasional travel across the region.

Experience
At least 5 years of experience in planning, inventory or operations roles within retail or luxury brands, with demonstrated ownership of S&OP and inventory optimisation; prior managerial experience or responsibility for cross-functional projects is expected.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field; master's degree or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
